Mercaz Hesed Sderot was established as a result of care for the citizens of Sderot and the Yishuvim surrounding it and a great need in specific organized need to poor families in the city. Every week food baskets and warm meals are delivered, as well as clothes and furniture for the poor, lending of necessary medical equipment, lending equipment for special events and more. The activity is done with full cooperation with the welfare facilities in the city.
